The BCC Competes in 69th Annual Border League Tournament

Saturday, August 8, 2015: The 69th running of the Border League Golf Tournament was held Saturday and hosted by the Smith Falls Golf Club. Teams participating included: Smith Falls Golf Club; the Brockville Country Club; Cornwall; Prescott; Gananoque; Partridge Run; St. Lawrence and Morrisburg. Cornwall was the overall winner by 9 strokes, with the Brockville Country Club taking second place honours, 3 strokes over third place Prescott..
Members of BCC's team (standing l to r) included: Jon O'Reilly, Rob Charbonneau; Mike Paquette; Chris Boyd; Paul Darby. Seated (l to r): Ray Lunsden; Ted Broome and Mark Peacock. Missing the photo was Dale Watts; Jayson Brown and Mitch Lawn.
Each team send one of their members to compete for the Border League President's Low Net Cup. In BCC's case, our rep was Jon O'Reilly. And represent us he did by winning the President's Low Net trophy following a 1 hole play-off against Scott of Prescott.
That's Jon, all smiles, holding the trophy. Well done Jon.
Congratulations to all BCC team members for representing yourselves and the Brockville Country Club so well. It certainly takes time and commitment and all BCC members should applaud our team's effort. Congratulations for a great showing at the 69th Annual Border League Golf Tournament.
