100th Anniversary CALENDAR now available!!

The Brockville Country Club will celebrate, during 2014, its 100th anniversary. To mark the 100th, a 2014 100th Anniversary Calendar has been developed and IS NOW AVAILABLE. Copies may be obtained at the BCC's main office and in the Pro Shop.
Also if you send an email to info@brockvillecountryclub.com and request your calendars, we would be pleased to mail them to you with an accompanying invoice. The price for a calendar is $15.00, tax included. The cost of producing the calendars has been covered by the sponsors you will see; one per month. Thank you very much sponsors. This means the full selling price (less tax) will go to the Club's Legacy Project; that being the upgrade of the Driving Range and Practice area.
The calendar tells some of the history and heritage of the club. They will look great in your home or office. They will make wonderful and  meaningful Christmas stocking stuffers. So support your club today and pick up your BCC 100th anniversay 2014 calendar.
A special thanks to Mark Oliver, Photovisons who donated his creative time and produced the calendar at cost.

Saturday's Dinner/Show/Dance a Huge Success

Saturday evening, November 16, 2013, the Brockville Country Club hosted another Dinner/Show/Dance in its main dining room. One hundred (100) members & guests attended making it a sold-out crowd. The meal was superb (thanks Chef Jason, Emily and staff). "The Memory Makers" show was very entertaining and first class.
The vocals were handled by our own A. J. Benoit and Trisha Herbison singing many of the "Rat Pack Era" hits and much more. A.J. and Trisha were backed up by Mary Ross-Comstock on keyboard and Billy Bosworth on drums.
Next up is the New Year's Gala which will launch the Club's 100th Anniversay Year. Actually the Gala is sold out and has a waiting list. Then our next Dinner/Show/Dance in our main dinning room is Saturday evening, January 18, 2014 featuring Michael K. Myer with Tim Holman. With the Nov. 16th show and New Year's Gala selling out, be sure to book the Jan 18th show early so that you will not be disappointed.

100th Anniversary Legacy Project Underway

Next year is the Brockville Country Club's 100th Anniversary. In recognition of our 100th, a Legacy Project has been approved and is under-way. That project will see the Driving Range and Practice Area upgraded into a 1st class facility for our members, guests and the community at large.

Construction is under-way. Weather is a deterrent, so only a portion of the project will be done this fall and the remainder will be completed in the spring. Can you imagine! The BCC will be 100 years old in 1914 providing continuous service to its members and guests. The Legacy Project will further enhance our facilities in keeping with the Club's proud heritage.

BCC Pro Honoured With Award Nominations

Our Brockville Country Club CPGA Professional, Derek MacDonald, was recently honoured by receiving two award nominations in recognition of his work as a teaching pro. The first came from The PGA of Canada - Ottawa Zone where Derek was nominated as Head Professional of the Year. Quite an honour for our BCC Pro. Two other pros from the Ottawa area were also nominated and in the end one of them was selected, but to just be recognized and nominated was quite an honour. Congratulations Derek.
The second honour came from Flagstick Magazine where Derek placed 2nd in the "Teacher of the Year" category. This recognition is especially significant because it comes from the large base of readers of Flagstick Magazine. Congratulations Derek for receiving this well deserved recognition.
