BCC Team Shows Well at St. Lawrence District Golf Tournament

The 88th running of the St. Lawrence District Association's golf tournament was held Friday and Saturday, July 24 & 25, 2015 at the Mississippi Golf Club, just back of Carleton Place. With the Mississippi club celebrating their 100th anniversary, it was certainly an appropriate venue. Twelve (12) clubs participated, with the Brockville Country Club coming in third overall. Well done team! Cataraqui took 1st place and Prescott placed 2nd.
The twelve, ten-man teams that participated, with their total accumulated scores in brackets follow: Cataraqui (1231), Prescott (1239), Brockville Country Club (1270), Mississippi (1273), Cornwall (1279), Perth (1296), Garrison (1306), Smith Falls (1350), Amherstview (1362), Gananogue (1411), Potsdam (1425 and Massena (which was only able to field 6 players). Each team included one junior and one senior.

The Brockville Country Club team, for which members had to qualify through 3 days of play at the BCC, included: (back l to r with total 2-day scores in brackets):

Well done team and CONGRATULATIONS on your third place finish in the very competitive 88th running of the St. Lawrence District Association Golf Tournament. Next year, the 89th tournament will be hosted by Garrison, just outside of Kingston.
