The AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic got underway today with draws at 4:00, 6:30 and 9:30 PM. Some of the best teams in the world are competing, coming from Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Wisconsin, Minnesota; and even as far away as Russia. Shown are the ladies Belise and Harrison rinks on sheet one. The round robin continues Friday, and Saturday with the championship rounds scheduled for Sunday. Spectators are most welcome for the slight charge of $10 per day, or $25 for a four day pack. Congratulations to Gord McCrady Jr., Jonathan Penney, the whole organizing committee and the host of BCC volunteers for again bringing the Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic to Brockville and the BCC.
