Ladies Golf Section Hold Meet & Greet
Wednesday April 23, 2014: The Brockville Country Club Ladies Section held their Meet & Greet, Wednesday, April 23. A great turnout, with 72 lady members and guests taking part. A social hour was held from 5 to 6, then a very nice dinner was served by our BCC staff. Yup, that's our Emily delivering a couple of meals. The ladies were able to sign up for leagues; become members, sign for the promo league. Their slogan for the event was: "Bring a Friend and Join up Together". Great job ladies in promoting our Club.
BCC Member Volunteers Clean Up Golf Course
Saturday, April 26, 2014 - A good contingent of BCC member volunteers, on a cool and drizzly day ventured out on the golf course to help our course staff pick up the many fallen branches and to rake up leaf-laden areas. This is an annual event and contributes considerably to helping spruce up our course. This past year was especially hard on the course. Also considerable tree cutting took place over the winter resulting in additional refuse to be picked up. Many thanks to Mike Paquette for organizing the day and to all the volunteers who braved to elements to help with the clean-up.
BCC Participates in City Trade Show
The BCC's booth highlighted golf memberships; golf green fee play, pro shop merchandise, curling activities as well as the Summer Series of Dinner/Show/Dances being held during the summer months in the Granite Hall.
Shown in the picture are Membership Committee members Susan Healey and Jim Elsasser. Also working the booth over the two day period was Roger Rhodes, Chris Hansen, Ray Dubuc and Jack Kenny.
