Saturday, March 14, 2015 saw Brockville Country Club members and guests celebrate St. Patrick's Day in fine fashion. It was a pub night! It started with a dinner of pizza and salad, and a good helping of beer and wine. Spencer Evans (keyboard, clarinet, accordion, singer) and his son Oscar on drums started with a medley of good old Irish Songs then moved into taking song requests from the audience.
It was a fun evening. Spencer played for 4 hours with only a 15 minute break. Amazing! Requests steamed in from the audience. Spencer said afterwards that he had never gotten so many requests in one night. It was fun trying to stump him which is nearly impossible.
So no need to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday, March 17th. Brockville Country Club has already done so!!
It is now time to start thinking about BCC's Summer Series of Dinner/Show/Dances which will be held in BCC's "Granite Hall" this Summer. First up is Kelly Trottier, Saturday May 2nd, so get your tickets early!
