After the second round of the Ladies Ottawa Citizen Amatuer Golf Championship played at the Outaouais Golf Club in Rockland, Leigh-Ann Ellis is in a three-way tie for first place. Leigh-Ann fired the low round of 72 for a two day total of 149. Round three takes place at the Kanata Lakes Golf & Country Club July 26th and the finals July 29th at The Marches Golf Club.
In addition, Teri DeLuis is at L'Empress Golf Course in Rimouski, Quebec this week for the 3rd qualification round of the NIVO Women's Provincial Senior Championship. If Teri is successful and makes the provincial team, she will be off to the National Canadian Senior Womens Championship at the Morningstar Golf Course in Parksville, B.C.
Congratulations to our lady golfers for representing themselves and the BCC so well.
