We are Looking for a BCC Commish Cup Team!!
Executive Golf (EG) are holding their Commish's Cup (short for Commisoner's Cup) Saturday, July 17 at the Casselview Golf Course. Their will be five (5) or more EG member teams and they are looking for guest teams. The BCC is now a member of the EG program and it would be fun to participate and help get us integrated with EG.
So we are looking for 12 BCC members to play the Commish Cup. Can be male or female. It is a Ryder Cup format, so competitive, but fun. The only criteria is that the combined scoring average of the team be 83 or more. So we are looking for some BCC low handicap players and some higher handicap players.
If you are interested in representing the BCC in this fun Ryder Cup style competition, please sign up on the sign-up sheet in the golf lounge. Let's show EG that the BCC can come to play!!

Chamber Golf Tournament at BCC a Blast
Ladies and Gentlemen: Start you Engines!
Friday, June 4, 2010 was the scene of the annual Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, organized by the Chamber, and hosted by the Brockville Country Club. A sold-out field of participants headed out for a 12:30 PM shot-gun start. The day was sunny; the course was in super shape; the particpants had a great time. The golf was followed by a steak dinner with all the trimmings. Everyone went away with a prize, full stomachs and the effects of an aftrenoon in the sun. The Chamber organizers did a super job as usual and extend a special thanks to the many sponsors that made the day so memorable. The BCC also appreciates being host and looks forward to next year's Chamber golf event at the Brockville Country Club.

BCC Joins Executive Golf (EG) Program
The Brockville Country Club has been added to participating golf courses in Executive Golf's (EG's) program. EG is an Ottawa based operation which offers its members the opportunity to play different courses in the Ottawa area. The BCC has now joined that list of courses. EG members must obtain pre-purchased green fee passes through EG, but then call the BCC for a tee time weekdays or afternoons on weekends and holidays.
The first EG members to take advantage and play the BCC are pictured (left to right): David Lee; Bruce Johnson and Keith Gallagher. Comments regarding our course following play included: Beautiful; immaculate; fair course; no cake walk; super greens; all holes different; great visuals when teeing off; classic layout; flower gardens impressive; great friendly service.
It is nice to hear the compliments. We look forward to other EG guests playing the BCC as the season rolls along. To learn more, visit the EG web site at http://www.executivegolf.ca/.
